Digital telephone
systems incorporate a host of additional system features apart from the standard
hold and call transfer facilities, designed to improve the call handling of
inbound telephone calls within an office environment.
The main advantage of Digital systems is that they can support ISDN (Integrated
Services Digital Network) lines, which connect calls faster than conventional
analogue lines and DDI (Direct Dialling In) numbers, enabling inbound callers
to dial directly to your telephone extension.

Telephone System Relocation and Upgrades
Tritel can relocate your telephone system when
you move to new premises. We undertake the responsibility of installing your
existing telephone system and liaise with BT to make sure your lines are moved
to the new premises.
We can upgrade your existing telephone system
by either installing the next system size up or by adding new software to
expand your current system.
Voice Mail/Auto Attendant Systems
The voicemail is like an answering machine
for every system extension enabling users to receive messages when on another
call or away from their desk. The auto attendant allows calls to be answered
straight away, or after a set number of rings via an automatic voice prompt.
This reduces the risk of calls going astray or not being answered. Callers
can enter the extension number they require, choose from a multi level one
touch menu, hear information or speak to the receptionist. If there is no
answer from an extension, callers can leave a message or try another extension.
Call management systems can log the time, date, destination, duration and
cost of a telephone call on an individual system extension or group of system
extensions. This is achieved by an interface from the telephone system to
your PC or main network server.
Call statistics can be monitored on screen
on a daily, weekly or monthly basis giving you a full breakdown of your inbound
and outbound call traffic volumes and can be printed off when necessary.
Category 5E Structured Cabling for Voice & Data
The Cat 5e structured cabling system is designed
to give you full control over where a PC work station or telephone system
extension is situated. This is achieved by installing Cat 5e cabling and socket
outlets throughout your office which connects back to a patch panel inside
a data cabinet. The patch panel has numbered stripped sockets which, by using
patch cords enables connection of the PC or telephone system extension to
the corresponding socket outlet.
Least cost routing enables cheaper telephone
calls to be made on local, regional, national, international and mobile phone
destinations via an existing BT line. This is achieved by calls being routed
through an alteration network carrier (eg Colt or Telia) via your BT local
telephone exchange, resulting in significant cost savings.
